Custom Home Building
We've been building custom homes for residents of the Raleigh, Durham NC area since 1976. We handle all aspects of custom home construction from consulting on plan design, site selection and lot placement to construction and project management. We know that building a custom home can be stressful endeavor and we aim to use our experience to make the process enjoyable for our customers.

We've worked with homeowners to restore and preserve older homes in several of the areas older areas including Raleigh's Glenwood-Brooklyn, North Hills, Country Club Homes, Lakestone, Drewry Hills and other "inside the beltline" neighborhoods as well as Durham's Treyburn and Chapel Hill's Governor's Club subdivisions. As the Tall Traditions' name implies we are sincerely dedicated to preserving and protecting the quality work of those that came before us. We have a strong appreciation for historical architecture and love to see older homes improved and restored to their former glory. We can work with customers to find engineering and design partners that have a shared vision for preservation of our area's historic residential gems.
